I'm looking to get an aluminium gate installed on the side access of my house. Probably just a simple horizontal slat design and 1.8m high. Photo attached with measurements. Also attached an example photo. I am thinking I will have a post attached to the brick wall and have the gate hinged against this. Then another post sitting on top of the retaining wall, attached to the colorbond fence.

The fence post is rotted at the base. It's also half way along a 6.3m expanse. I would happily take your advice, I think it would be smarter to just install two brand new fence posts. You can advise if you think it's worth replacing the palings (i think they are fine for now). it's the creamy yellow fence in the images. One image shows it last week when it was falling over, and the other today, since my brother visited and helped me wedge it upright with a piece of H2.

Looking for an experienced handyman to finish installing palings onto my existing back fence. Approximately 11 metres of fence in a small courtyard. I started installing the palings myself but don’t have time to finish the job. It’s a straightforward job - simply nail the remaining palings onto the existing fence, cover the gaps and keep the top neat and level. All palings are supplied. You just need your own nail gun/tools. Must have experience with fencing or similar handyman work.

I require two fence brackets to be installed. One bracket to be installed on the front face of a main timber post and the other to be installed on the side face of the post (this post is on the corner). Along with that, there are some eye screws, turnbuckles and wire mesh, wire rope and accompanied wire rope grips to be installed as well. This task is to prevent our cats from scaling the fence. The length of this installation is 3.7m as shown in the picture attached. Red lines are indicative of the brackets, blue lines are indicative of the wire rope. The wire mesh should be fixed to this. Dimensions are 880w x 1820h Im currently completing work on a property which gate needs to be replaced. I would like an all inclusive price. Existing lock to be reinstated. Colour is mission brown Rear lane access to drop off materials however parking would be in front of property so access is very good.
