Three small rectification items on a newly installed timber/steel playground unit at the Royal Flying Doctor Service, MacKay Street, Port Augusta SA, flagged in a Kidsafe SA post-installation inspection. Need a handyman/landscaper with concreting experience. Materials: exterior-grade silicone, one M10/M12 galvanised bolt to match the existing bracket bolts, one bag of rapid-set concrete. 1. FIREMAN'S POLE - RE-SET FOOTING (main job). The steel sliding pole sits 320mm from the platform edge; AS 4685 requires 350mm. Unbolt the pole from its top bracket, dig out the in-ground concrete footing, move the pole 40-50mm further out from the platform, re-concrete the footing plumb, and re-fit the pole to the bracket so the platform-to-pole clearance measures at least 350mm. Loose-fill bark surfacing to be raked back and reinstated. 2. SILICONE GAP AT SLIDE ENTRY. There is a small gap between the slide entry panel and the platform on the left side (toggle/clothing entrapment). Tighten the slide-to-platform fixings and fill the remaining gap with exterior silicone so nothing can catch. 3. MISSING BOLT IN FIREMAN'S POLE BRACKET. One bolt is missing from the top bracket where the pole meets the timber post. Supply and fit a matching galvanised bolt. Please send a photo of the finished pole with a tape measure showing the clearance, plus photos of items 2 and 3. Site is accessible during business hours; contact details provided on acceptance.
