Preparing all necessary tools and materials
Whether your Tasker is bringing their tools or using your own, they’ll also need to check if they have all the necessary materials. To avoid any last-minute trips to the hardware store, it’s best to inform your Tasker of the kind of playground that they will be assembling.
Playground assembly
Once all the parts and tools are ready, your playground assembly expert will start building. Though they will usually stick to what’s in the manual, some may have a few tips and tricks to make the playground safer or the process faster. We have a large, sturdy metal framed play equipment in our backyard that needs to be dismantled. We have already done what we can with a drill and spanners, but the rest will need an angle grinder to remove the metal from the concreted bases and to break the frame into manageable sized pieces for removal (which has already been organized to be taken by a scrap metal collector). The angle grinder operator must be experienced in cutting metal, have the correct safety gear and be insured.
