Storage cage assembly

Mesh Storage’s storage cages use modular welded-mesh panels, steel posts, and doors to create enclosed storage areas. Assembly can involve laying out the panels, identifying the correct posts and fittings, joining the panels, positioning the cage and fitting the door and lock. 

A storage cage can also take up more room than you might expect, so measure your available space, including the height and access points, before assembly begins. If your garage doesn’t have enough room, consider a garden shed contractor to help create a separate storage area.

Garage storage system assembly

For Mesh Storage’s overhead garage racks, the system needs to be positioned overhead, with the hanging brackets attached to the appropriate ceiling structure and the rack panels assembled and secured. 

A Tasker can help assemble the platform, set the hanging height and install the included hardware, subject to the suitability of your ceiling and the agreed task scope. 

Wire mesh panel assembly

Mesh Storage’s wire mesh panels can be used individually or combined with posts, gates and other panels to create partitions and enclosed areas. The work can include measuring and marking the layout, positioning the first post, drilling the required fixing points, attaching the panel and connecting additional sections in sequence. 

Wire mesh gate assembly

A Mesh Storage gate assembly can include positioning the gate posts, securing the posts, attaching the gate hinges, fitting the gate panel, installing the handles and adding the lock or latch. The gate also needs to open in the intended direction and sit correctly within the opening. Having a Tasker handle the assembly can make the job easier, particularly when you need to hold the gate in position while fixing the hinges and hardware.

Fold-up bed assembly

Mesh Storage’s fold-up beds are designed for quick setup, but you may still prefer to have someone else handle the job, particularly if you’re preparing a room or storage area at the same time. A Tasker can unpack the bed, identify the frame and mattress components, unfold and position the frame, check the locking castor wheels and make sure the bed folds and moves as intended.
