Whether you’re setting up one hoop in the backyard or several systems for a larger space, assembly can involve plenty of parts, hardware and careful positioning. A Tasker can handle the hands-on work, from putting the right components together to securing the finished system.

Portable system assembly

Spaldings’s portable basketball systems involve more than simply attaching a hoop to a pole. A Tasker can assemble the base, connect the pole sections, fit the wheels and attach the backboard support. They can then mount the backboard, rim and net before checking the height-adjustment mechanism. Large backboards and bulky base sections can be awkward to hold and align on your own, especially while tightening bolts.

In-ground system assembly

The in-ground basketball systems from Spalding need careful positioning because the pole becomes a permanent fixture once installed. Taskers can assemble the pole sections, attach the backboard and rim, position the system and secure the components according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Depending on the job, preparing the footing may involve digging and pouring concrete. You can also post a task for concreting services if you need help preparing a suitable base.

Backboards and rims assembly

If you already have the structure in place and only need a Spalding backboard and rim fitted, a Tasker can handle the mounting work. They can identify the correct brackets and hardware, align the backboard with the mounting points, secure the rim and attach the net.

Holding a large backboard in position while lining up bolts is difficult to manage alone, but a Tasker can take care of the fitting and make sure the components are properly secured.

Mini backboards assembly

Spalding mini basketball backboards may be smaller, but they still need the right components fitted correctly. Depending on the setup, this may involve working on a wall, door or another elevated surface, making accurate positioning important. Getting help means you don’t have to juggle the backboard, tools, and fixings yourself while trying to follow the assembly instructions.

Multiple systems assembly

Setting up several basketball systems can quickly turn into a much bigger job. A Tasker can work through each system methodically, sorting the hardware, assembling the bases or poles, fitting the backboards and rims, attaching nets and checking each finished unit.

For multiple hoops, keeping track of similar parts across several boxes can also become confusing. Hiring a Tasker can save you from repeating the same assembly process over and over, while giving you one person to coordinate the setup.
