Will need box terminated into living room which has 6 ethernet cable runs also. This is a fairly easy job as plastering has not be laid and house is barebones so is easy access. Hi, I have a light fixing/ switch that is no longer working and need an electrician to trouble shoot and fix it. I recently moved into a new house and the previous owner installed a large data rack and has ethernet, tv aerial, HDMI and other cables running from the data rack to different rooms throughout the house. Some appear linked to the inactive security system too. I need help deciphering what cables do what, and which ethernet cables are "live" as I haven't been able to connect my internet router to the data rack properly, hence have all internet running wirelessly only. Any experience with Magellan security systems would be very useful, as alot if the cabling appears to be for a security system and the security panels are for the Magellan "paradox" system.
