I have a light fitting above my kitchen sink. The transformer needs replacing which I have just received.

I have a GU5.3 downlight that is not working. Replaced the blub but it didnt help , so looks like the transformer is dead so task is it be rewired to work with a GU10 bulb or the transformer replaced The exisitng ceiling hole and light hitting will work and no changes needed to that.
