Hi there, I’m looking for a licensed electrician to diagnose and fix an ongoing power tripping issue in my apartment. Issue summary: • Random power trips affecting bathroom lights and exhaust fan. • The issue is intermittent – a previous two electricians visited and replaced some sockets, but the tripping continues. • It likely needs proper insulation or wiring fault testing to find the root cause before repair. • I’m looking for someone experienced with apartment electrical systems who can efficiently isolate and repair the issue without unnecessary wall or ceiling damage. What’s been checked already: • Distribution board to unit: tested – no issue. • Unit PCB: tested – no issue, except the light circuit breaker keeps tripping. • Breaker replaced (new one installed). • Bathroom light and exhaust sockets replaced. • Now, tripping occurs only inside the unit PCB (used to also trip in the main distribution room earlier). • Tripping happens only when the bathroom switch (light + exhaust) is turned on. • For now, I’ve unplugged the bathroom light/fan and am using a temporary strip light. Additional info: • Apartment is only 5 years old and never had issues before. • Problem started after returning from a 1-month vacation – could possibly be moisture-related, but not confirmed. Bathroom downlight not working. Replaced bulb, no difference. Sometimes when the switch is turned on, the light flickers. Have tried reseating into socket. May be issue with transformer? The cable is connected to SAL Mini Electronic Transformer.

My Airbnb guests say the wifi is “not working”. I can’t be more specific , sorry. They have turned the modem off, then on again. I’ve checked and there are no NBN outages, nor service provider outages. I’d like to add cables one direct to the NBN outlet (to eliminate wifi problems) and one to the aerial (so free to air broadcast TV is available)
