10 to 15 yr old kitchen benchtop assumed engineered stone, originally cream / beige colour. Not sure what tenants did to cause heavily stained grey stains next to sink, think top surface has crazed in spots, hoping someone can fix rather than replace. I know $100 is unrealistic. Unit is vacant Benchtop approx 600 deep x 2100 long with 300 return, then other 600 deep x 900 wide (Stove in-between). Happy to remove sink if that helps.

You must be a certified painter , hold current licences and have own insurance . Car park is at McCarrs creek reserve , no charge and toilet and shower facilities , water access is on land . ( however some water available and toilet access on board if required) Access to boat provided from land side from wharf at Mc Carrs creek reserve. Most importantly is that to possess a sense of humour as it is truely a small area to work on , to be flexible with availability over weekends or some dates early December during the week. However , Preferably a Sat or sun before then . Month of September most week ends would be ideal . If you have an eye for detail meticulous and immaculate in your work and practises have current and relevant experience licences and insurance .. turn up on time and genuine .. well then I will welcome you on board and I’ll maybe even fire up the BBQ and have a coldie ready .. thank you

I’m looking for someone experienced in timber furniture restoration to restore an old/antique timber hutch (photos attached). The hutch is structurally intact but has significant wear, scratches, old paint/finish Scope of work: * Strip/remove the existing paint, varnish and/or old finish as required to expose and restore the original timber. * Carefully sand the external and internal timber surfaces, including doors, drawers, trims and edges. * Repair scratches, gouges, chips, small holes and other damaged areas using appropriately colour-matched timber filler or other suitable timber-repair methods. * Repair or adjust doors, drawers, hinges, catches and other hardware as required so everything opens, closes and operates properly. * Retain and clean the existing hardware where practical. * Re-line the drawers and cupboard/storage areas with a suitable new liner. * Prepare and finish the exposed timber to bring out the natural grain and character of the piece. * Apply a suitable protective natural-looking finish such as furniture oil, hard wax oil or wax. I would prefer a natural timber appearance rather than a painted finish. * Final finish should be consistent while retaining the character and age of the hutch rather than making it look completely new. Happy to discuss the most appropriate restoration approach and finish with someone experienced in restoring older timber furniture. Please include in your offer whether materials/consumables are included and, if possible, examples or photos of similar furniture restoration work you have completed. The hutch can be worked on at my location or taken away and returned once completed, depending on what is easier.

Carpenter Needed for 1 day labour to Cut & Assemble Custom Desk + Floating Shelves at Warehouse We’re looking for an experienced carpenter to help us cut, assemble and install a custom desk and two floating shelves at our warehouse. Custom Desk The finished desk will be approximately 4.2 metres long x 600mm deep, running along the edge of the room. It will be made in two sections, split in the middle. We have particle board with a finished timber/wood veneer surface that will need to be accurately measured and cut to size. The job will involve: Measuring and cutting the desktop sections to the required dimensions Creating a finished desk approximately 4200mm long x 600mm deep Making clean, furniture-quality cuts without chipping or damaging the veneer Following our supplied measurements and layout for the desk legs Helping assemble and fix the legs and desktop sections Ensuring the two sections line up neatly in the middle Making sure the finished desk is level, secure and neatly finished Floating Shelves We also need help creating and fixing two long floating shelves. Each shelf will be: 4.9 metres overall length 300mm wide The carpenter will need to help us: Measure and cut the shelf material to the required dimensions Join/prepare the sections as required to achieve the 4.9m overall length Install and securely fix both floating shelves to the wall Make sure the shelves are straight, level and cleanly finished We’ll supply the boards/materials, desk legs and our required measurements/specifications. You’ll need to bring the appropriate professional cutting and installation tools, particularly equipment suitable for making clean cuts in veneered particle board. This should be a relatively straightforward on-site job for an experienced carpenter. Please let us know your carpentry experience, what equipment you have, and whether you have experience installing long floating shelves and custom desks.

You must have experience drilling into tile without cracking it and bring the appropriate drill bits. ​Materials Provided: I have the fixtures, mounting brackets, screws, and standard wall plugs ready to go. You just need to bring the tools and the expertise. ​Care Required: The fixtures have a matte black finish, so I need someone who will be extra careful not to scratch or scuff the hardware during the installation.

We would like to modify the doors of our laundry as the washing machine and dryer we have are bigger and stick out. We have 2 floor to Celina doors that we would need to cut to cover everything else and leave the washing machine and dryer uncovered.

I have a window frame on house that is water damaged and needs repair/replacement and the guttering/roofing above repaired to stop it happening again. Second story bedroom window. No water ingress, water damage is on outside. There is no guttering above but needs some kind of solution to stop overflow of water from roof at this point to stop the run onto the wall and window. Struggling to find a builder willing to do this job in isolation. Any solo carpenters/handymen out there that can handle a job like this? No idea of cost, if budget is not appropriate, please make an offer.

Our outdoor balustrade has had some rotting that has occurred in isolated areas - railing needs to be patched and glued / builders bog in a few spots. Painting not required.
