Scope of works: • Build a bulkhead above each wardrobe, finishing flush with wardrobe fronts/sides • Bulkhead height to stop at the existing picture rail (approx. 150mm above wardrobes) • Important: Area between picture rail and ceiling remains open (do NOT box to ceiling) • Carefully remove/modify and reinstate picture rail so it runs continuously across the new bulkhead • Match existing picture rail profile as closely as possible • Ensure a tight, square, paint-ready finish Details: • 4 bedrooms total • 8 wardrobes (2 per room, either side of fireplaces) • Period home with decorative cornices and existing trim detail • Consistency across all rooms is important Materials: • We will supply MDF and paint • You to advise if any additional materials are required What we need from you: • Experience with finish carpentry / cabinetry / period detail work • Ability to assess and match existing picture rail profile • Supply tools, fixings, and complete installation • Deliver a paint-ready finish Nice to have: • Previous similar work (bulkheads / built-ins / heritage homes) Location: Richmond, VIC Timing: Flexible, but looking to get started soon Photos attached showing current wardrobes, picture rail, and ceiling detail.
