A qualified carpenter is needed in Port Melbourne sometime over the next couple of weeks to do a few small jobs: 1. Build a small ceiling cover for an access hole in plaster ceiling (style to be discussed, preferably one that lifts off completely rather than being hinged) – see photo 2. Repair broken cedar slat in sauna seat – see photo 3. Build a shelf for a hallway 1800x300 – see photo (to be installed high on wall, 300 from ceiling, into brick wall) 4. Build 2 cupboard doors for a laundry/storage cupboard 1800x640 – see photo 5. Might be a couple of extra small tasks we can discuss/negotiate I estimate this is about 2 days work. Will need a site visit first to measure and discuss tasks. I’d consider paying about $400-$500 per day for labour, and extra for materials.

This is a 'different' job! I need someone to install some Eva Foam on my deck of my boat. It is a 7 metre boat and it's located at Pier 35 In Port Melbourne. Access is easy and I will supply the materials. I have no idea of budget but think it is a day's work so happy to pay for that. Hi - would like my deck sanded back and restained. The total area is about 13m2. The area includes sanding a storage box which is part of the 13m2. I’m ok to provide the stain but everything else needed should be quoted for. You should have all the tools including pressure hose. 2 applications of the stain to be applied. It requires 3 hours to reapply if temp is >15 degrees. I’ve included a date but can do earlier.

Have new apartment and would like to have 2 sets of draws on the bottom of each side of the 2 sliding door wardrobe. Just made out of white malamine. Happy for them to sit just on the floor or be screwed to the walls. Approx dimensions are 101cm wide, 50cm deep and 60 cm high, so thinking 2 x 30cm deep draws each side.

Hi there – moving into a rental and have realised that the main bedroom is not long enough to fit our bed and the existing cupboard doors which open Outwards. Contemplating sourcing secondhand sliding doors on gumtree or Facebook marketplace and hiring carpenter / cabinet maker to replace the existing doors. Alternatively can the existing cupboard doors be modified to be sliding? Thank you
