Looking for a qualified/experienced carpenter for bathroom framing and timber repairs due to leaking shower. Bathroom: 2700 × 2300mm, approx. Walls are exposed and ready for work. Scope: Bottom plate - Replace water damaged bottom plate around bathroom as required with appropriate pressure treated timber. To include 6m length total of bottom plate. Securely fix new timber to sound existing framing. Ensure that the frame is appropriately supported throughout replacement. Timber rot: Repair approx. 12 sections of bottom of stud wood piece. Damage is 100-150mm in these sections. Cut back to sound timber and properly splice/replace with new timber. (see pics as reference to example of what needs replacing) Nogging: Nogging approx. 1200mm high perimeter around all walls, excluding shower. Additional nogging for vanity, mirror, towel rail. Bathroom door: Remove door (keeping, do not need to dispose of door), and remove damaged jamb timber along the full damaged length not just a small patch (see image showing damage). Replace with new timber and leave plumb, level, straight and square. General *Check and ensure all framing is plumb, level, straight and square, and rectify as required. *Carpenter to supply all timber, fixings and consumables *Include removal of all waste and final clean.

Require a builder or experienced carpenter to frame a timber hob for steel bath to be placed in. Bath is 1500 long area for the bath mapped out in blue tape on the pictures measures 2m long. Require the hob to be have two small bulkheads at each end with the bulkhead closest to the shower base to be married into the shower base. See images of original bathroom which had this same design. Timber flooring to be removed carefully so it can be reused and yellow tongue to be placed down. Do not require bath to be cemented in, just the timber flooring to be removed, yellow tongue put down and hob to be framed. Have all materials onsite. Need done asap (can be done today) or by Tuesday at the latest. Possibility of ongoing work with the fit out and wood panel to be done after tiling.
