We have three small jobs. First one is two single cuts to a piece of MDF. Circular saw required. Second job is repair to coffee table - simply reattaching the end of a table. Third is front gate, not closing due to post movement. Require a timber plane to shave a few mil off the gate so it will close.

Scope of work: • Build a solid support base (timber battens or suitable alternative) so the new hardwood piece doesn’t flex or move. • Fit and fix the hardwood board so it’s level and flush with the existing floorboards on both sides. • Secure the board with adhesive and/or screws as appropriate. • Optional: light sanding and filling for a neat finish (no staining required).

I have an outdoor BBQ unit. There are three tasks - 1. I need someone to repair the cabinet door that has come loose from its hinges. The hinge mounting plates have stripped out of the cabinet frame (see photo). This has been repaired before by the installer and failed. 2. The cupboards need cleaning. 3. I need a way for the doors to be secured closed, so that water/weather does not get inside the cupboards. I am guessing that water damage has caused this.

Have about three areas I want to close up to stop any critters entering the house. A couple need a small piece of wood to close the gap and then fully sealed. Plus other little areas I want to have caulked or expandable foam to close up where wood is difficult. Don’t have photos of the all areas as I will need to remove a cupboard for one of these, but one of the areas shown.

I have a 3m long solid oak dining table and looking for a handyman who has had experience in sanding and staining furniture, to help me finish it as I am moving house. The table is currently in my double garage and the work can be done there, so no need to move it. I have already stripped / sanded the table top, just need you to sand the legs and apply a stain in a walnut colour.
