I am updating my existing kitchen using Bunnings Kaboodle. This is NOT a full kitchen installation and the existing base cabinet are remaining in place. Work required: • Fit new outer/end panels to existing cabinets • Fit new cabinet doors and drawer fronts • Install handles and soft close drawers • Fit new kickboards • Assemble and securely wall mount the new upper/wall cabinets and a microwave cabinet. • Install required filler/pantry/end panels • Remove one remaining old cabinet with a stuck fixing, remove the existing long kick board, one pantry side panel and old bench top. • Trim/install/join the supplied laminate benchtop and cut openings for the sink All Kaboodle components and Bunnings kitchen plans are supplied. Plumbing and Electrical work will be completed separately by licensed trades. I have already removed almost all the old parts of the kitchen except for what was mentioned above.

The kitchen cabinets on top of the fridge needs to be made smaller to make room for Big fridge.

I just today had two external doors replaced to rubbish internal doors, the builder that replaced them said they should be fine for outside but I don’t think they will last a week with rain and sun. They also replaced a trim with mdf which also I don’t is going to last. Should I bother to paint or replace them again ???

We have an outdoor deck that has been partially damaged by the sun. The whole deck needs sanding and re-staining.

I need an experienced cabinet maker/cabinet installer to install our laundry cabinetry. The base cabinets, tall cabinet and overhead cabinets are already purchased and assembled/ready to install. No cabinet construction is required. Work required: * Install, level and secure the base cabinets to the wall * Install the tall cabinet and secure it to the wall using 35mm slats * Install the overhead cabinets * Securely fix and align all cabinets to the wall * Measure, cut and install the filler between the wall and tall cabinet * Make some minor cabinet trimming/cutting to fit over the existing lower wall tiles, so the cabinets can sit flush/neatly against the wall * Any minor fillers/trim required for a neat finish Plumbing is already completed. Bulkhead, benchtop and sink are NOT required at this stage — these will be completed later. The attached photos show the bare laundry space and the actual cabinets that need to be installed. Simple Van Platform – Assembly (no work needed to attach bed to van, it is standalone). I’m looking for a handyman or someone comfortable with basic woodworking to assemble a simple platform for the rear of my van. The platform will be 160cm L × 80cm W × 30cm H and will be made from plywood with timber legs/supports. I can have all the timber and plywood pre-cut to size, so the job is simply to assemble everything rather than measure and cut the materials. There will also be a 30cm hinged flap attached to one end using butt hinges. Carpenter Required – Replace Damaged/Rotten Door Architrave & Timber Trim Task Description We require an experienced carpenter/handyman to repair and replace damaged timber architrave/trim around an internal doorway. Sections of the existing timber have deteriorated, particularly around the bottom corners and along the lower/side sections of the door frame. Please refer to the attached photos and measurements. Scope of works: * Remove the damaged/rotted sections of existing timber architrave/trim. * Supply and install replacement timber of a matching or closest available profile and dimensions. * Check the surrounding timber to ensure all deteriorated material is removed. * Cut and join replacement sections neatly into the existing architrave. * Fill nail holes, gaps and joins. * Sand and prepare repaired areas. * Caulk where required for a clean finish. * Prime and paint the new/repaired timber white to match the existing finish. * Remove and dispose of all damaged timber and waste. * Leave the work area clean and tidy. The attached photographs include measurements of the affected areas; however, the successful Tasker should confirm all dimensions on site before purchasing/cutting materials. We are looking for a neat, professional repair rather than a temporary patch.

Timber courtyard door at an apartment in Richmond has become tight and is sticking/rubbing against the frame, particularly around the latch side. It takes more force than it should to open and close and can make quite a bit of noise when closing. Looking for someone to inspect and adjust the door so it opens and closes smoothly. It may need to be planed/shaved slightly and the exposed timber resealed, or otherwise adjusted as appropriate. Ideally looking to have this done fairly soon as the apartment is about to be made available for a long-term tenant.

Cabinet door hinge has come away due to the holes too big for the screws. Door and hinge are fine, just need reinforcement within the holes. I don’t have the tools or parts, so looking for someone who can bring the necessary equipment to reinforce the door onto the cabinetry. Please include any additional payment required for parts.

A large kitchen cabinet/drawer has parts missing and is no longer operational. I need help fixing it please

We recently had our house relevelled and restumped and need an experienced carpenter to: • Adjust up to three doors affected by the releveling • Check and adjust the hinges and alignment before planing the doors where necessary • Adjust the latches and strike plates if required • Re-secure the separated door trims/architraves • Repair the loose trim beside the front door • Reattach the loose skirting and replace the small broken section The house is currently vacant. Two floorboards are damaged and need replaced. The replacement boards don't need to perfectly match (this is coming ahead of a later renovation), but a close stain would be great.

Help, my bathroom cabinet has fallen off and is in need of desperate repair.

I need three tall cabinets securely anchored to the wall, as my young son has started climbing them. The cabinet on the far right is particularly unstable and moves when touched, so it needs to be properly secured. All three cabinets should be inspected and anchored into wall studs or secured using another suitable structural fixing. Alfresco ceiling * I have already completed the initial coat of white paint on the ceiling. * It does not need multiple coats, special weatherproofing or a full repainting system. * I just need one final coat plus any final touch-ups to get an even, tidy finish. * I will supply the paint. * Existing fans and lights need to be worked around/protected. Deck * Once the ceiling painting is finished, clean the timber deck, including removing any paint splashes and surface dirt. * Apply decking stain/oil to refresh the existing finish. * No major sanding or full deck restoration required. This is straightforward sale preparation. I can supply the paint, decking product, etc. as required. Hourly pay or good price for the complete job. I’ve put $500 as an initial budget.
