The desk will be on the left side (under an aircon), and I’d like the rest of the wall used for wardrobe and storage. There’s a window in the middle, and I’ve got a rough draft/render that shows the layout and window placement. L-shaped cabinets Two sets: • 3.3 m (H) × 5.4 m (W) • 3.3 m (H) × 3.3 m (W) Most carcasses are pre-assembled; only sections 6 & 10 are flat-packed (see attached photo for reference). 2. 3 × bookcases Carcasses pre-assembled but split into two parts each. 3. 1 × glass-door cabinet Carcass assembled; glass doors need installation. 4. 3 × desks Drawers and cabinets pre-assembled, require installation only. Additional Details: All materials are supplied. Taskers must bring their own tools, dolly and ladder. Some cabinets include LED lighting, which will need to be connected and working. The site is tight and currently filled with cartons. Items (2, 3 & 4) need to be carried up to Level 1 — if some units don’t fit the stairs, partial disassembly may be required. The Issue: Several layers of our custom wall-mounted shelving units have started to pull away from the wall. This is a significant safety concern as we are worried about their stability and the risk of collapse. The shelves appear to be glued and possibly screwed to the wall, and some of these connections have failed. The Job: This is primarily an "inspect and secure" job. The scope of work includes: 1. Attending the site to thoroughly assess the structure and stability of the entire wall shelving unit. 2. Identifying all the points where the shelves have detached from the wall. 3. Supplying and installing small, discreet L-brackets underneath the affected shelves to securely re-fasten them to the wall. 4. Ensuring the installed brackets are strong, neatly fitted, and provide robust support to prevent any further movement. 5. Leaving the area clean and tidy. The primary goal is to make the shelving safe and secure. I am seeking assistance to re-hang our joinery door. It fell off its hinges so I am unsure if there is any permanent damage to the hinges themselves. There is a Bunnings 5mins down the road if new hinges are required. The door is extremely heavy and will likely need two people to rehang.
