Find experienced local carpenters in Thomastown

Looking for a qualified carpenter — ideally a framer who specialises in timber work — to build a front porch at my property in Thomastown. I already have a separate contractor lined up to complete the fascia, guttering and roofing. The new porch would be built to match the current porch size (see attached photos for reference). I’m seeking tradies who can attend the property first to inspect the site and provide a detailed quote.

I need the below made by a carpenter. Soap drying rack. These racks have 7 removable, wooden slatted trays to allow for plenty of dry air circulation during the saponification process. The footprint of the piece is 23" x 23". and the rack stands about 30" tall. Add the optional 4", locking wheels if this will be on the floor, or na wheels if the Rack will sit on a table or counter. Shelves are spaced to allow for bars as tall as 3.5". Depending on how large your bars are - and if you dry them flat or on edge - total capacity for each unit is as much as 450 bars.

Weld 4 stainless tabs onto a trolley 30 mm x 30 mm x 4 mm thick and drill M6 hole in tabs. Clean up trolley as required.

Can I please get a price to put the cabinetry together (attached plans) for the kitchen & Laundry. The Kitchen cabinets need to be put together and installed however the laundry does not need to be installed, just assembled and left to the side. The cabinetry is from IKEA.

Required to get hybrid laminate floor (7mm thick) drilled and remove a circular piece (without damaging the rest of the board) and screw the magnetic door stoppers to the subfloor. 3X magnetic door stoppers to be setup for 3X doors. Also, required to be done the followings; Replace 2X 165° Full Overlay Clip on Hinges for 1X corner cabinet door. Setup Magnetic Cabinet Catches for 2X corner cabinet doors. Change screws for 2X piano hinges for 2X cabinet doors. Materials are supplied. Preferably the work should be done Thursday 25th late afternoon or alternatively, Friday or Saturday. Thank you.

Carpenter frame out under stairs to prepare for plaster Timber and nails provided

Hi there, I’ve just moved into the property and I’m looking to get a dog ramp built on my staircase leading into the backyard. My dog has hip dysplasia, so I need something functional and sturdy to help him get up and down safely. I’d like the ramp to be positioned on the left-hand side of the stairs, where the brick wall is. It doesn’t need to be anything fancy—just strong and practical. Ideally, it should be around 300–400mm wide. The total length is roughly 3 metres, though I’m not sure if it’ll need to bend around the corner—I’ll leave that to your professional advice. I’d also need a small side rail or edge along the ramp to prevent my dog from jumping off straight onto the stairs. One of the steps has some rendering coming loose, which I can remove if needed to make installation easier—just let me know. I'm somewhat flexible as i have 'guesstimated' on price and happy to arrange a site visit if you want to quote more directly. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks!
