I’m looking for an experienced cabinet maker or kitchen installer to make a practical modification to my existing kitchen cabinetry to create space for a standard dishwasher. Please see the attached photos. There appears to be unused depth/space underneath the existing stone benchtop, and I would like to utilise this space rather than make major changes to the kitchen. The aim is to: Create a suitable cavity for a standard dishwasher (approx. 600mm wide, subject to final measurement). Make use of the available/unused depth under the benchtop. Modify or remove only the cabinetry/panels necessary to create the space. Keep the existing stone benchtop intact. Retain as much of the existing cabinetry and storage as reasonably possible. Leave the area neat and professionally finished. Ensure there is adequate height and depth for the dishwasher and its connections. This task is for the cabinetry modification only. Dishwasher installation and plumbing are not required as part of this quote.
