Hi there, I need a local handyman to carefully remove one single piece of timber skirting board located inside my kitchen's refrigerator alcove. This is a rental property, so it is critical that the board is removed cleanly in one piece without cracking the wood or damaging the adjacent mitered corner joint and drywall, as I will need to reinstate it when I move out. What needs to be done: Score the painted edges/mitered corner joint to break the paint bond. Carefully pry the single skirting board panel off the wall inside the alcove. Pull or flatten any remaining brad nails on the wall so the surface is smooth. Leave the removed timber piece intact for me to store. Tools required: Please bring your own utility knife, pry bar/trim puller and drywall protection materials. Located in Maroubra. Flexible with time, but looking to get this sorted as soon as possible. Most of the cabinets have been installed and the contractor stopped the job instantly. Only one needs installed, Adjust and place handles on the doors and more touch ups needed to finish the job.

My dog chewed some of the beading they need to be replaced and stained. I’ve got some from Bunnings. You’ll need a circular saw or a diagonal cutter to cut them to sites needs to be glued and nailed in.

We have a large wooden wardrobe which we need to remove intact from wall in order to replace carpet in the room (currently sitting on top of old carpet). Wood strips on either side can be removed/replaced. May require 2 people We would like to ultimately keep this wardrobe, so a no damage removal is needed. It seems to be anchored to wall with some screws, but may require an onsite inspection first to work out next steps. I have a 60mm diameter hole in a cabinet door (20mm thick) that I want to fill. I have a piece of particle board but I don’t have hole saw or jig saw to cut the piece to plug the hole.
