I need an experienced carpenter joiner or handyman to build a custom L shaped enclosure inside our restaurant in Melbourne CBD. The enclosed area will be used as our dedicated dishes and dishwashing area. The main purpose is to create a practical and organised space for handling dirty plates while also matching the existing timber interior of the restaurant. The attached photos show the actual area and our design concept. The enclosure needs to follow an L shape based on the marked layout in the photo. The front side of the enclosure will have a passthrough opening. Staff outside the enclosed area will be able to easily place or pass dirty plates through the opening. Inside the enclosure there will be a stainless steel work table where staff can receive the plates sort them clean them and stack them. The enclosure should include a suitable access door for staff and enough internal space for the dishwashing workflow and equipment. We would also like storage space underneath or around the work table for trays racks and other dishwashing supplies. We would like the outside of the enclosure to have a timber finish that matches the existing restaurant interior. The inside should be practical durable hygienic and easy to clean. We are open to suggestions regarding the best materials and design. We would prefer someone to come and inspect the site in person before confirming the final design and price. The space is difficult to fully explain through photos so a site visit is important to understand the layout take accurate measurements and discuss the best solution. Carpenter Needed – Alfresco Preparation for Tiling & Outdoor Kitchen Looking for an experienced carpenter to complete work in our alfresco area. Work required: * Build/box up the alfresco floor area, approximately 4m x 5.5m, ready for tiling. * Existing floor is approximately 5–7cm lower than the house floor. I need someone who is experienced with Cabinet making to install some doors. This is a make good end of lease handover. Not fussy on how the doors are could be made out of melamine - I just need to get the cabinets closed up and functional.

Looking for an experienced cabinet maker / laundry renovator to help update our small existing laundry. We’re looking to keep the existing layout largely intact but improve the cabinetry and make better use of the limited space. Scope of work: • Remove/modify existing cabinetry as required • Reconfigure the laundry so front-load washing machine + new dryer sit side-by-side under the existing benchtop • Retain the existing timber benchtop and round stainless-steel sink • Replace/extend the white overhead cabinetry across the wall, similar to the reference design • White flat-panel cabinetry with black handles • Create an open cat-litter nook directly underneath the sink – no cabinet door • Add 2–3 small floating shelves beside the window • Install and finish cabinetry The room is quite narrow, so the design needs to work within the existing footprint rather than increasing the depth/width of the cabinetry. I have a photo of the concept showing the look and layout we’re aiming for. Ideally looking for someone who can come out, measure the space, confirm what is achievable, supply/build the cabinetry and complete installation.

I need to fix up the top panels of my verandah fencing brought back to life. The panels have been exposed to the weather, so I guess they need a sand and revarnish to match colour of the rest of the fencing, which does not need anything done to it. I also need the two panels that have come loose to be nailed back in.

I need a timber sleeper installed underneath the existing retaining wall. The sleeper is needed to close off the gap underneath the retaining wall so concrete can be poured up to the wall without spilling underneath. The ground slopes, so the sleeper will need to be cut to follow the slope/angle of the ground so it fits neatly into the gap. I haven’t measured the gap yet, so I’d like someone who can measure it, cut the timber to fit and install it securely. Timing: Needs to be completed before Tuesday. Photos attached.

We are adding carpet to 3 bedrooms and we need someone to shave the bottom of 12 doors (3 bedrooms and 9 wardrobe doors). The doors have been removed and labeled. We need the doors cut onsite which can be done outside or in our garage and then rehung the same day. The house is in Essendon.
