the opening system of our awning window broke down because of the wind. Some parts are missing. Glass is completely fine, but we need to setup the opening system again. The day before we moved in to our new place a flock of cockatoos came and shredded the window frames (see photos). Some of the wood was quite old/rotting, so the damage is substantial in places. Fly screen on door and window repaired

I have a timber sash window that has sustained a section of rot to the staff bead and the junction of the stile and the meeting rail, on the upper sash. This has caused the meeting rail to slip downwards and expose the bottom edge of the glazing. Additionally, both sashes have perished glazing putty and that will require replacing. This job is not urgent and I’m flexible with timing. This sash is open to the elements so may not be able to be worked on during Melbourne’s wild weather. Please note : we have a sugar the house who is friendly.

Bathroom and laundry timber windows need some repair of rot, replacement of hinge and some staining two windows. It would be good to replace the old thirty year old window exhaust fan in the bathroom with a similar, more effective one to ensure steam in the bathroom is dealt with. Anticipate replacement of window frame that has rotten, and repair of parts in reasonable condition, then stain both window frames.
