My motorised awning isn't responding to the remote. When I press a button I only hear a ticking sound and the awning doesn't move. It could be a faulty capacitor, motor or receiver, but I'm not sure. Looking for someone with experience in awning/roller motor repairs to diagnose and fix it. • Awning type/brand: Alpha, thats what remoe is labelled. • Budget: $400 for labour only. I want to install a motorised retractable awning which needs a power outlet. There’s an existing outdoor light on the wall. Would it be possible to tap into the existing electrical supply for the light and install a new power point nearby? I’d like the power point to be independently switched from the light. If not, can you let me know whether installing the awning is feasible and where should the electricity from? The closet PowerPoint is vertical to this wall inside 1.5m away from the wall (the red mark behind the fireplace on the 3rd photo); the yellow mark is where the light is.

Large impact damage to internal plasterboard wall. The plasterboard has been punctured and crushed, with multiple cracks radiating from the main hole. The damaged section requires cutting out, patching with new plasterboard, taping, setting, sanding, priming, and repainting to restore the wall.

Looking for someone experienced in Hebel or rendering to repair a small section at the base of an external wall. There is a 30-70mm gap / unfinished section where render has chipped off and underlying coating is exposed. Job requires: - Proper infill (not just patch) - Mesh reinforcement - Re-render to match existing finish - Seal base properly This is NOT a simple patch/paint job.
