Hi, I’m looking for a licensed electrician to install a weatherproof outdoor power point in my alfresco area and frontyard Details: • There is currently no outdoor electrical socket in the alfresco and front yard. • I have a new electric fountain that needs a dedicated power point. • The power point should be outdoor-rated (weatherproof/IP-rated) and compliant with Australian standards. • Wiring will likely need to be run from an existing indoor power source or switchboard (happy for the electrician to assess and advise the best approach). • Alfresco is covered but exposed to weather from the sides. I’m after an experienced plasterer to supply and install plasterboard to all internal walls and the ceiling of a backyard shed/office. Internal dimensions are L 3.51 m × W 2.94 m × H 2.23 m. Approx areas: walls ~28.8 m², ceiling ~10.3 m² (total ~39 m²). The frame is open and straight, with foil sarking already installed. Electrical rough-in will be completed first; I’ll call you back for fit-off only after the electrician’s final visit. Scope: • Hang plasterboard to all walls and ceiling (no floor work). Use standard 10 mm board to walls and appropriate ceiling board (please advise 10/13 mm). • Square-set finish (no cornice). • Install angle beads/stop beads to door and window openings; pack or batten as needed to level. • Set, tape and finish to Level 4, sand smooth and ready for paint (but no painting required). • Seal perimeter with acoustic/paintable caulk where needed and leave clean, tidy and rubbish removed from site. Inclusions to quote: all materials (boards, screws, adhesives, beads, compounds, tape), delivery, labour, sanding, waste removal, and any minor levelling/battening required for a neat ceiling line. Please note any exclusions or assumptions (e.g., additional straightening if framing is out, access scaffolds if you prefer, or allowance for control joints—unlikely given room size). Access & timing: flat backyard, direct access via side gate; power available. Prefer work to start as soon as the COES for rough-in is issued. Happy to work around drying times over multiple visits.
