Plastering & Timber Framing Repair – Large Doorway I’m looking for an experienced plasterer/carpenter to repair and finish the wall surrounding these large bi-fold/sliding doors. The existing plaster is damaged. - Replacement of the timber framing - Install new plasterboard to the surrounding wall areas - Patch and set all joins and edges - Sand and prepare the area ready for painting - Leave the finished wall smooth and level with the existing walls The job is around a large set of timber framed glass doors, as shown in the photos. Need a handyman for drywall repair in a few places, one of which includes bracket installation and attaching a bookcase to a well. Prefer an all inclusive quote or hourly. First pic - The drywall was damaged due to a baby gate. Need someone to patch up, paint and attach a metal bracket to stop this from happening again. Note that the hole needs to be patched, painted and dried before bracket can be installed. This may require couple of visits between painting and bracket installation.I can supply the paint and metal bracket etc. 2nd pic - fixing a 1-2 inch scratch in the drywall in another room - this probably only needs paint. Again I can supply the paint. 3rd and 4th pics - fixing the drywall in another section of the house which has been drilled by mistake by a trade. Attaching a bookcase to the wall - note that you need to be physically strong as the top half of the bookcase needs to be lifted a couple of feet to place it on the bottom section. I’m after an experienced plasterer to supply and install plasterboard to all internal walls and the ceiling of a backyard shed/office. Internal dimensions are L 3.51 m × W 2.94 m × H 2.23 m. Approx areas: walls ~28.8 m², ceiling ~10.3 m² (total ~39 m²). The frame is open and straight, with foil sarking already installed. Electrical rough-in will be completed first; I’ll call you back for fit-off only after the electrician’s final visit. Scope: • Hang plasterboard to all walls and ceiling (no floor work). Use standard 10 mm board to walls and appropriate ceiling board (please advise 10/13 mm). • Square-set finish (no cornice). • Install angle beads/stop beads to door and window openings; pack or batten as needed to level. • Set, tape and finish to Level 4, sand smooth and ready for paint (but no painting required). • Seal perimeter with acoustic/paintable caulk where needed and leave clean, tidy and rubbish removed from site. Power point wouldn’t fix to plaster so we had to remove it and put a bracket in for fixing. Plaster needs to be butted up.
