Replace water damaged ceiling

Would like to remove the old heater covering a fireplace and want to close up the fireplace (connected to a chimney) and have it be flushed with the wall.

Patch a 2 small holes on the wall and another one on ceiling (3 holes). Then move the door to open from right side instead of left. See photos attached. Also open to fitting a new door instead. 2020x760 size.
