Identify failure point in existing skylight or roof sheeting seal. Supply and install new custom-bent flashing and silicone sealant around skylight perimeter. Test roof penetration with water to confirm watertightness post-sealing. Remove and dispose of saturated insulation in affected area. Install new insulation batts to match R-value of existing. Cut out and replace ceiling sheeting section affected by water ingress. Flush, tape, and sand new ceiling joins to match existing surface. Apply stain-blocking primer to affected ceiling area. Apply 2 coats of ceiling white paint to blend repairs. Final clean of site and ensure no further drips or defects visible.
