Bathroom faucet leaking water

I have a ABI Gooseneck in Brass - we have switched out colour scheme and I have a new ABI Gooseneck with a pull out spray attachment I need switching / replacing.

Replaced our shower head yesterday. Issue was removing the connector in picture 1 was loosening the entire rod to the ceiling initially when trying to get it off for the new component to the shower head. Now we see a leak patch (as per pic) overnight - leaking slightly from ceiling shower head rod when we turn it on (just few drops). Hopefully It just needs tightening…thanks.

Remove copper pipe and replace with flexible hose supplied but change the angle so that the hose goes through the large hole.
