Plumbing needs to be connected to new dishwasher

I have a fridge which needs to be connected to a tap for filtered water. The previous owner said there is a tap for the fridge in the corner but the cupboard between it doesnt seem to have a hole for the hose to run through so assume a simple small hole needs to be made. In pic one the red circle is where the tap is .
