Wall paper needs to be removed and residue scraped off walls. Living/Dining, stairwell, two bedrooms and 2 landings.

Cleaning and sanding required skirting and frames need painting too All materials and paint need to be supplied House is brick, nice white walls required House will be empty inside Work to commence 31 May

Areas to be painted > All internal plasterboard & masonry walls. > All ceilings throughout. > Timber & MDF trims: skirting boards, architraves, picture rails. > Window elements: reveals, sills, jamb liners, pelmets. > Door leaves (both faces), frames and edges. 2. Surface preparation > Light sand, dust‑off, and sugar‑soap clean to remove grease/grime. > Fill hairline cracks, nail holes, minor dents; spot‑prime any stained or patched areas (walls in good condition) > Mask/tape adjacent surfaces and fully cover floors, fixtures. 3. Coating system > Walls & ceilings: 1 coat premium sealer/undercoat + 2 coats low‑VOC washable acrylic (sheen levels: ceiling flat, wall low‑sheen). > Trims, doors & windows: 1 coat adhesion primer (where required) + 2 coats hard‑wearing water‑based enamel (semi‑gloss). >All products to be reputable trade brands (e.g., Dulux, Haymes, Taubmans) or equivalent. 4. Inclusions & expectations Contractor to supply all paint, consumables and equipment (rollers, drop‑sheets, ladders, etc.). Work hours: 8 am – 5 pm (flexible by agreement). Maintain a tidy site; remove masking and debris daily, vacuum final surfaces. Touch‑up and defect walk‑through with owner upon completion; rectify any misses at no extra charge. Dispose of paint waste responsibly. 5. Access & timing Property will be vacant 6. Acceptance criteria Uniform colour coverage with sharp, straight cut‑ins; no roller lines, drips, visible brush marks or paint on adjacent surfaces. Water ingress has damaged some of the plasterboards in the ceiling and they need replacing, sanding and painting. The flat is on the third floor in a walk up block. Am looking for a quote as it's an insurance job, then job will be allocated.

Have a stain in the kitchen table caused by an acid. Have tried all the standard procedures (scrubbing, bicarb soda, google etc) looks as though its acid etched the table and the stain just gets whiter and whiter everytime we try get it out. - Due date: Needs to be done on Thursday, 17 November 2022
