I need a qualified plumber to check the hot water supply to my kitchen sink, because although there is hot water, it can be inconsistent after toggling on and off multiple times (it can turn completely cold). Hot water supply to other taps in the house works well, and this issue doesn’t have anything to do with other people in the house using hot water. I need this looked at because it’s impacting the performance of my dishwasher, because it’s not receiving consistent hot water.

The The metal plug/strainer assembly (the part that sits in the sink hole and acts as both a filter and a push-down stopper) has detached from the drain pipe beneath the sink. It appears the issue is a missing nut or fastener. I can see the thread/bolt from the plug assembly hanging down below the sink, and I can see the pipe with the corresponding hole, but the piece that secures them together is gone. How to Fix It (As I See It) This should be a straightforward job for someone with basic tools and confidence: Obtain a suitable nut/fastener to fit the existing bolt/thread. Unscrew/detach the immediate section of the drain pipe below the sink Properly seat and secure the metal plug assembly onto the sink hole from above. Fasten it securely to the pipe thread from below using the new nut. Reattach the rest of the drain pipe and ensure everything is tight and sealed (a quick water test would be ideal). I believe this is a simple handyman or maintenance fix and does not require a licensed plumber. I just want someone confident to do the job properly so I don't have leaks.

There is a leaking under the kitchen sink.

Pipes under our kitchen sink are leaking and we’re not sure of the exact cause. We suspect it might be related to the Puretec water filter that’s installed. Looking for an experienced plumber or handyman to inspect the area, find the source of the leak, and repair it.

My kitchen sink is blocked since Sunday. Water is still draining but very slow. I've tried using a planger, unclogging gel and high pressure unbloker but they didn't work.

Have a leak under kitchen sink, can not establish where the leak is from, either the pipes under the sink or the dishwasher (but given the red area marked is where water is, thinking it may be from the side of dishwasher, also no water seen in cabinet under the sink)? Leak is at the front of the sink, the image shows the rug in front of the sink which is wet along the front edging. Also need help with some small leaks under the bathroom sink in 2 bathrooms as a result of plug and waste being changed over.

One of the mini stop valves under the kitchen sink is leaking slightly — about one drop every 15 seconds — from around the spindle/handle area. The leak stops when the tap on the sink is open, but I can’t leave it running all the time. It seems like the internal washer or o-ring might need to be replaced. I live in Mill Park, VIC. Kitchen sink is clogged I tried putting different types of solvents down the drain. House is about 15 years old built on a slab (no access to underground plumbing ). Tried putting a snake down the main kitchen sewer pipe but it goes about 6 meters before getting stuck price is negotiable
