Do you like a challenge? I have a problem wall bed! It is 80% constructed but there are a few issues with the bed. It is the Nobu wall bed. It's a bed that folds down into a bed and folds up to become a cabinet with a desk. Notes from the last handy man: 1️⃣ Panel issue (inside covering panels) • We were able to fix the inside panel on the left side (the panel that hides the inside of the bed). • However, the equivalent panel on the right side does not fit inside the cabinet at all — there is clearly not enough space. • As it is now, the right panel is too wide, which blocks the rest of the installation. 👉 The right panel needs to be cut or trimmed by about 1–2 cm so it can fit properly. 2️⃣ Piston issue (lifting mechanism) • Inside the cabinet, the pistons that are supposed to lift the bed cannot be fixed properly onto the internal bolts. • The issue is that the pistons do not compress enough on their own to fit into the designated space. • A strong amount of pressure is required to compress them enough so they can be inserted into place and secured with a bolt on top. 👉 Without applying this pressure, the pistons cannot be installed, which prevents the bed from lifting and folding correctly. Remaining steps (once the two issues are fixed) • Screw the bed frame from the inside onto the door, so it is properly secured. • Add the large panel to form the desk. • Add the smaller panel to form the shelf.

I already have: - Full floor plan with exact measurements - Final design layout - Complete item list from Bunnings No design work is required. I would like an installer to: - Provide a labour-only installation quote. - Optional: Provide a quote if you can supply the same items cheaper than Bunnings (cabinets, panels, benchtops, sink and tap). - Optional: Provide a quote if you can source appliances cheaper (cooker, cooktop and rangehood). Scope of work: - Assemble and install all flat-pack cabinets (base, wall, drawer and corner units). - Install drawers, doors, handles, kickboards, filler panels and end panels. - Cut and join laminate benchtops, including sink cut-out. - Allow correct openings for appliances. No electrical or gas connection required. Installer does not need to supply materials unless you can provide them cheaper. I can send the floor plan, photos, and full item list from Bunnings for quoting.

It’s a rear sliding door. I had issues locking & unlocking but now it’s a mess because a friend of mine tried fixing it and ended up doing more damage. Anyway further issues should be diagnosed by professionals. In my view its sliding part aluminium and lock.
