Job 2: parts of hanging ceiling and corner beads where the leak (orginating in the linen cupboard Job 1) has damaged the ceiling. Approximate dimensions are provided in the images. We would also like to reinstall Earthwool or Mineral wool insulation. We can supply this, but would like your expertise to install. Please ask questions if anything is not clear.

Hello, We are looking to have a small utensil drawer installed in our kitchen in Meadowbank (Ryde area). The drawer would sit directly above our small microwave oven, inside the current microwave enclosure. The new drawer cutlery drawer would be done in the style to match the existing drawers. As part of the job, the facia around the microwave oven enclosure would need to be removed as it clashes. Additionally, the power point inside the microwave enclosure, may need to be moved downwards by about 150mm. I have supplied photos, and a concept sketch of the proposed cutlery drawer. We would like to have someone come out and visit us on site, and measure and quote for the design. We are looking to have the job done in the next few months. The holes have already been drilled, and we used a stud finder to check the area to make sure we were not drilling near electrical wiring. However, during installation we realised the plastic wall plugs/fixings we have are not good enough, and I’m not confident they will hold the towel rail securely over time. I’ve been told that heavy-duty fixings such as toggle bolts / butterfly anchors may be more suitable, but I’m not confident choosing or installing them myself, so I’d rather have someone experienced do it properly. What I need: 1. Provide suitable heavy-duty wall fixings, such as toggle bolts or an equivalent option, suitable for a towel rail. 2. Install the towel rail securely so it is strong enough for daily use and won’t loosen over time. 3. Check that the current drilled holes are usable, or advise if a better fixing method is needed. This is in a strata apartment, so I’m looking for someone experienced and insured. A licensed handyman, plumber, electrician, or similar tradesperson would be suitable as long as you have the right experience and insurance. My budget is not high, but the timing is flexible. I’m happy to wait until the weekend or even next week if needed. Please bring the appropriate fixings/tools with you.
