Hello, need help installing 2 curtains. Wall is double brick, have had no success using standard hammer drill. Have had blinds installed previously- I believe they used a rotary hammer.

I have 2 IKEA Vidga curtain rails that need installation over balcony doors. There are currently 2 rails installed. The one closer to the window needs to be removed and replaced with new rails. One need to be cut to length and then they need to be connected and screwed in. I've injured my shoulder and can't do it.
