Hi, I’m looking for someone to urgently install a privacy lock or handle set on an internal bedroom door with a narrow architrave. The job is located in Currumbin Waters, and I can be there to provide access tomorrow (Wednesday) between 11 AM and 2 PM or Thursday morning before 11 AM. The lock needs to be installed as part of a home safety plan. The door hardware may need to be replaced entirely with a unit that includes a built-in lock (like an Ikonic turnsnib). I have photos and product examples to guide the install. Please let me know your availability and rates ASAP – looking to have this completed before Friday. This job will be paid by invoice.

Old treadmill has become rusted from being outside but no issues with working until it was moved to a new rental, then the tread started to track off centre. Want to move it downstairs and fix the tracking of the tread so I can start using it again.

Currumbin Waters Refix existing dynabolt (with new nut) or replace dynabolt to reattach clothes line to brick veneer wall. Worst case, drill alternate fixing hole and fix in place with new dynabolt. Bonus points for tightening the 3 other anchor points with attending to this one! ☺️

I have a metal gate, between two brick pillars that is "catching" at the top when opening or closing. I have tried recessing the hinge back into the timber, and whilst this helped, it did not fix the issue. The timber may have to be planned back. This is now beyond a home handyman and needs a chippy who is good with gates please.
