Still looking for a hardwood floor installer. I am replacing the carpets in four bedrooms with hardwood flooring (not engineered). The wood is spotted gum 130mm x 19mm. The total floor area of the four bedrooms (including wardrobes) is approximately 60-65sqm. I already have the flooring and the glue. I do not have the nails but I can get or I can pay for whatever you buy. The hardwood is tongue and groove. Install approx. 19m2 (max) flooring in St Kilda Road apartment before Monday. Price is negotiable, had to put something in, please put in your offers. We believe total apartment size is 23m2 however kitchenette and bathroom are tiled so it is only the bedroom, small hallway and lounge area that need doing. Beading can wait. Ideally install with a 5mm gap around the edges. Apparently this flooring has built in underlay. Added image with floor sizes. Looking to get the bedroom (6m2) and living (8.64m2)areas along with the hallway (approx. 4m2) up to the kitchen area.

I need someone to supply and install skirting boards in all the rooms on the ground level of my house besides the wet areas and kitchen. There's a living room, dining, hallway and entrance with timber floors and a master bedroom and study which is going to have carpet laid. There's 3 small steps too. Bamboo flooring has a couple of marks that need refinishing 1. heat from the fridge has led to a scorch mark (see image) 2. water marks in other areas from pot plants 3. scratched floor from a desk chair

This is just for 1 average sized bedroom. Summary of the jobs that need to be done: 1. Disassembly (partial) of bed and moved to another room - I will help with this 2. Removal and disposal of carpet and crap underneath, I can also help with this 3. Sanding and refinishing the floorboards and finding the correct stain and varnish to match the floorboards around the rest of the house. I will of course pay for the varnish and any materials needed for this. I also have random orbital sander if this helps. The part that I really need help with is refinishing the floorboards after the carpet is removed, and making sure the new varnish perfectly matches the other floorboards in the house.
