I'm looking for a carpenter or builder to build a timber ramp at the front of the house to get up 4 stairs. Prefer hardwood decking. Attached an older photo of the front of the house. I’m told we will need about 6m of ramp for the elevation. The space to the left (path under the window) can be used for the ramp. Ideally job to be kicked off in the next few days. Thanks!

The timber balcony balustrade is wobbling so it needs timber batten braces fixed from the top of the balustrade post to the rafters beneath the timber deck. Refer attached images. Supply of materials by me. ie 92 x 18mm H3 timber batten braces, M10 bolt(s), buggles.

Need carpentry assistance cutting ply sheets and routing down edges

We need an experienced carpenter, timber deck tradesman, handyman to repair some damaged steps on a timber stairway. Bring own tools drill, all fixings, timber can be supplied. 2-3 days work onsite

2x apartment garage doors are needing replacement. However, prior to replacement, removal of partially rotten wooden trim, including upright beams (jambs) and surrounding trim is required (refer yellow highlights). Wooden beams highlighted are 2m high, and provide structural support to cross-beam. Ideally, only highlighted areas will be replaced. Intact cross-beam (or header trim, green dots) currently support old garage doors. Old doors and mountings can be removed to make work easier. New work to be painted to match existing wood. In person visit to quote welcomed if required.

Use blackbutt timber which I will purchase (145mm x 30mm), to construct: 1. A ballustrade for a standard height set of internal stairs 2. A capping for a "dwarf wall" For the ballustrade- there is already a thin piece (30mm x 30mm) of blackbutt attached to the gyprocked stud wall wall that has an LED strip fitted under it (see pics 1-3). The thicker piece will be screwed onto this, centred so that the top part sits up approx 50mm creating a handrail compliant with the BCA, and the lower part overlaps the LED by about 50mm. Sufficient screws should be used (I can purchase beforehand) and rebated and ideally filled with wood plugs which you will make from the blackbutt offcuts. The ballustrade will require 3 joints- two are 2-dimensional involving about a 15 degree angle, one is 3-dimensional involving approx 15 degree angle on one plane, combined with a 90 degree angle as it's in the corner. I don't require a mitre joint- I think a butt joint may work better. For the capping on the dwarf wall- this is much simpler, as it just involves 2 mitre joins. Wall is about 4m long and already gyprocked, with top left bare- see pic 4 which shows the surface they will be attached to (blue timber framing). I'd also like wood plugs for the screws on this one please. I'd like the wood rounded off on the edges, but no sanding or oiling/ laquering is required, as I can do this, however I'm happy to take advice- it may be easier to do the back of the ballustrade before it's attached to the wall. I can add pictures tonight.

I have the material the timber for the steps to extend the width of the stairs I have the timber to do so I would need to be attached family to the existing Stairs and supported silicon to a with wider steps , would need to supply top and bottom rail with lattice insert for handrail and build a lattice handrail with top and bottom edging similar to decks surrounds but not as high and sloped in line with steps

To build a freestanding room that I can use as a art area with a door not attached to existing garage would require a large secondhand window to allow for light within the area it’s a single garage and the front is not used the rear is used for tools it’s single wide and doubling length and I just wanted a room to use as prof Studio has an existing concrete floor I don’t want it attached to the side wall of the garage it’s lattice and timber framed it just has to be freestanding independent but a walkway would need to be beside to access the garbage bins to be put out and to be able to carry things through to the rear of the garage materials for it would be need to be supplied by the person door job inclusive with materials. Clean and sand back existing deck stain. Restrain similar colour to what it was. We will pay for stain, may require a couple of days not sure
