Trim 3cm off the bottom of the cupboard doors so they line up correctly, then rehang Requirements: Bring your own tools, including a saw that gives a clean, chip-free cut (e.g. track saw or circular saw with a fine-tooth blade). Seal or edge-band the cut door edges so they match the existing finish and don't swell from moisture. Experience with kitchen joinery or cabinet installation preferred. I have a problem with a leaking balcony into my garage. I will be organising this to be repaired by a builder but will first get a structural engineer to fully assess the area and work out what scope the project requires. However he needs the ceiling to be opened up so all areas with mould are exposed. See red box on photo for area that needs removing. Additionally the engineer won’t do any invasive testing like probing joists to check the condition of the wood. I would appreciate if this could be done as part of the job.

Cabinetry adjustment above gas stove – make compliant I need a cabinetmaker/handyman to modify the existing overhead cabinetry above a freestanding gas stove in a Richmond apartment. The current cupboard/extraction fan enclosure sits too low and protrudes over the cooktop. I need the cabinetry altered so there is sufficient clearance above the gas cooktop and the area can meet the applicable installation/compliance requirements. Work would likely involve: * Cutting back, shortening or reconfiguring the cupboard directly above the stove. * Adjusting/removing the lower section that currently protrudes over the cooktop. * Making good the cabinetry after alteration so it looks neat and finished. * Coordinating the finished dimensions with the required clearance for the gas cooktop/rangehood. Timber courtyard door at an apartment in Richmond has become tight and is sticking/rubbing against the frame, particularly around the latch side. It takes more force than it should to open and close and can make quite a bit of noise when closing. Looking for someone to inspect and adjust the door so it opens and closes smoothly. It may need to be planed/shaved slightly and the exposed timber resealed, or otherwise adjusted as appropriate. I have a small courtyard measuring just under 5x5 metres, for which nearly all of it is already wooden decking. A strip of 0.75m by 5m is currently dirt (there was grass there which I removed) and I would like to extend the deck to make the entire space wooden decking. Once new wood is added, I would like to sand and refinish to stain the entire deck a consistent colour.
