Above the strip, there is a overhead cupboard. The surrounding cabinetry must not be damaged. The strip is a part of the painted white cabinetry, and is there for decorative / aesthetic purpose only. Very carefully without damaging the existing kitchen and workmanship: -Modify the overhead kitchen cupboards to fit in an overhead microwave into an overhead cupboard. May need to move the dividers inside the cupboards to make room for the microwave. Narrower leftover cupboard spaces next to the microwave is fine rather than using filler pieces. May need to reinforce the cupboard to accommodate the weight of the microwave is fine. -Replace the existing overhead cupboard door at the microwave location with a half door covering the cupboard directly above the microwave and open cupboard for the microwave itself. All new cupboard doors are to match existing doors in colour and finish. -Realign the overhead cupboard doors so they are aligned up, at the moment there are big gaps and small gaps in between the doors. -Properly refix an existing loose end panel at the end of the kitchen bench.
