We have some laundry cabinets that have suffered some water damage, so they need to get ripped out. We aren't sure of replacing them just yet - we want to get them removed first to make sure any damage is contained. I've put the budget as $5 purely because I do not understand what something like this would cost, and need some quotes to take to our insurer.

Looking for a handyman or somebody with carpentry experience to put up one piece of wide enough timber (I'll leave it to you to decide the best piece of wood) to fill this gap between our fence and the brick pillar. We would then like to get a fairly basic but functional letterbox from Bunnings and attach it at a reasonably good height for both the postman and my elderly parents. The purpose mainly is to fill the gap so any young children next door can't fit through this gap and then make it out onto the road. The gap would be about 100mm. Just a rough guess. Can't be much more/less than that TBH. No painting necessary. Doesn't have to be a new piece of timber either. Just something tidy & clean. Not wanting a ground standing, pillar-style letterbox. Just a smaller kind mounted to the piece of timber you attach. That should hopefully work for my folks.

I need a new small under counter kitchen shelves with door, about 280 mm wide, 850 mm high, 600 mm deep. A washing machine will go under the counter next to it. I need an end panel for the kitchen top.

Installing a simple stack on 2m Bunnings timber fence extension (it needs to be cut to size). Cutting a plasterboard sheet to cover an unused air vent in the wall. There isn’t existing frame and currently there is a grill that I want replaced by a solid piece of plasterboard.
