I want to add a dishwasher and a washing machine to my kitchen. Under my kitchen sink I have one hot water valve and one cold water valve. They currently feed a single sink mixer tap through braided hoses. There’s one plastic trap connected to a single waste pipe, which also serves as the sink’s drain. I’m after a compliant, low disruption solution rather than a full replumb. Ideally, a setup where I can isolate one appliance (say, to service the dishwasher) without shutting off water to the whole kitchen.

Miele dishwasher not draining My Miele dishwasher has the Inlet/Drain light flashing and the water isn’t draining out. I’ve followed the troubleshooting instructions, taken the filters etc. out and found some glass stuck in the little drain pump/propeller. I’ve removed all the glass I can find and put everything back together, but it still isn’t draining and the light comes straight back on. I’ve tried resetting it as well and that hasn’t worked. I think there might now be a blockage in the drain pipe/hose, but I don’t know how to check or fix that myself. Looking for someone who can come and figure out what’s blocked and get it draining again.

My apartment dishwasher has developed a drainage problem. The “Inlet / Drain” warning light is showing red, water is pooling at the bottom of the dishwasher, and the cycle does not seem to finish properly and not dry the dishes. I'm looking for an experienced and qualified carpenter to cut and install shelves above the washing machine in my laundry. I will remove current shelving system. Cost is negotiable (honestly no idea how much a job might cost so ignore $ amount). You will need to measure before and source materials for which I will pay for. I'd like solid wooden shelves ideally, yet open to melamine or other material. Each shelf needs to be approximately 600mm x 700mm. As you can see from the photo, it's a brick wall.

My bechtop dishwasher has stopped working. I suspect it’s due to a blocked outlet hose. It’s flooding and then showing a flashing glass icon. Which according to web search means that the sensor could be deformed. I think the drain pipe just needs to be checked/unblocked if that’s the issue. If it’s more complicated than that then I’d claim it under warranty. I just need someone to help take it out and so the hose can be inspected and any other parts underneath.
