I have a Smeg undermount rangehood (integrated, built into overhead cabinetry) that needs replacing. The unit is mounted flush under the cabinet above a grill in a modern kitchen with dark cabinetry. Before taking on the job, I'd appreciate a quick inspection visit first to assess the existing unit, confirm dimensions, and help identify a suitable replacement model. I'll then purchase the unit myself. I just need someone to handle the removal of the old unit and installation of the new one. As shown in the image, I do believe there is ventilation to the outside world via a pipe on the roof. (I have shown this in my images) The job will likely involve: Removing the existing undermount rangehood Installing the new unit into the existing cabinet cavity Reconnecting to the existing power point (no new wiring expected) Disposing of the old unit Please note the rangehood is integrated into overhead cabinetry, so some care will be needed around the joinery.
