Hello, Our old house doesn't have a rangehood or fan ventilation for the cooktop, just a hole above the oven into he ceiling. We want to put in an exhaust fan or whatever you suggest the best option. The other issue is the hole just goes into the ceiling, so it would need to be ducted to the outside I imagine. There is also a dead rat in the cavity that needs to be removed.
