Wood in window has warped and needs sanding to fit back into hole to close properly

I have purchased Insulating Film for Windows – clear plastic sheeting that goes on a window and you use a blow dryer to shrink it to fit. But I am not that tall. * The windows (4 of them) are 8.75’ (2.7 meters) tall. * The windows go to the ceiling at 11’ (3.4m). * I have a ladder where the top step is 3.5’ (1m). I have the blow dryer and a long extension cord. I am just not tall enough to reach the top of the window.
