Measuring your space
Once the space is all set, your Tasker then measures the wall surface to ensure that you're made to measure splashbacks are a perfect fit. Installing your splashback tiles
The installation process includes the application of tile adhesive, laying down the splashback to the wall, and grouting. Using a notched trowel, your tile fitter spreads a generous amount of tile adhesive across the wall surface, usually starting from the bottom centre. From there, they carefully remove the protective film and lay each row of tiles along with grout spacers underneath each edge. Grouting your tiles comes after the tile adhesive has dried and set in place. Finishing the task, your Tasker can help clean the joints and remove any powdery film or residue.Â

Hi everyone, I need my kitchen splash back tiles removed and new ones laid, including on two windowsills in the kitchen - ideally tomorrow or Saturday afternoon. I have the tiles and the grout, and can get adhesive if you tell me which to get. It's about 3.5m2. The tiles are hexagonal and 176 x 201 mm in size (there are 105 of them). Some tile cutting will be required, but I'm happy for the top edge not to be smooth, i.e. there needs to be no cutting for the top edge. There are three sockets, and one area with no tiles to allow for pipes (see picture). I'd also need the old tiles to be removed from site, as I don't have a car. This doesn't have to happen on the same day, but within a week roughly. Please see pictures for the area and shout if any questions, thanks!
