Following a recently completed loft conversion, we have a total of 84 square meters of ceiling in 4 rooms which need to be fitted with semi rigid rockwool insulation and plasterboard. The loft already has wooden partition framing installed. However, except for one room, the other rooms in the loft do not yet have plasterboard or semi-rigid rock wall installed. Insulation: Two layers of semi rigid rock wool to be fitted in between the loft roof joists, leaving an air gap above, with already fitted first fix electrical cables for lights to be left hanging through ready for plaster-boarding. The first layer is 100mm insulation and the second layer either 100mm or 50mm insulation. Insulation is compression fitted. Plaster-boarding: Single layer of 15mm fire board to be fitted to 84 sq meters of loft ceiling joists. Other details. There are no stairs. Access via a ladder only. Plasterboard and insulation already in loft. Plasterboard screws supplied. Floor to ceiling height is 2.4 meters high. A 40cm high hopper is onsite to stand on. 4 telescopic plasterboard jacks also onsite. Looking for fitting within next 10 days.

We got a new dishwasher but was informed we would need to a plumber to install an insulation valve, we would need the plumber to provide the materials please.

We have a basement, that requires insulation. The basement is standing height, the insulation will fit between joists. When installed there will be a lining that has to be applied to hold it in. Lining provided.

Need to cut plasterboard and install 400x400 upvc hatch . Add insulation into the small dormer loft. Insulation and hatch already bought. There was a hatch previously but got covered by plasterboard.

I recently had a new roof and solar panels installed. The loft looks like it’s never been used or cleaned for years it’s filthy. The insulation is excessive and disgusting especially since having the roof done. I would like it all removed and any other rubbish present disposed of.

Our loft boards were lifted to lay insulation. Rockwool insulation and 'Loft Legs' have been installed. Now the old boards need laying back down on top of the legs. Central section of loft only. Boards are tongue & groove OSB, approx 6ftx2ft. Boards are already stacked in the loft and we have a ladder & hatch access.

Hi, I have a NordMende built-in oven (model SO225IX), and after cooking incident (burnt chicken), there's a small area of exposed insulation just visible through a gap around the oven cavity that has a burnt smell. The oven works fine, is clean, and there's no damage to the wiring or heating elements. I’d just like to have that small burnt section of insulation removed to get rid of the lingering smell. I don’t need anything replaced—just a safe, quick removal of that bit if possible. The oven is still installed in the cabinet. Could you let me know the cost for this kind of visit, and if it’s something you can help with?
