I need a plumber or experienced handyman to service my concealed thermostatic shower mixer. Tasks required: 1. Remove Handle & Faceplate: Carefully remove the matte black temperature handle and faceplate (as seen in the photo). 2. Clean Limescale/Corrosion: There is some buildup and pitting around the base of the handle. I need this cleaned up as much as possible without damaging the finish further. 3. Adjust Temperature Limit: The shower does not get hot enough. I need you to recalibrate the internal thermostatic cartridge/stop ring to allow for a higher maximum temperature (past the current 38°C limit). 4. Inspect for Leaks: Check if the white buildup is caused by a slow leak from the cartridge seals and advise if a new O-ring is needed. Notes: * I am not looking to replace the unit, just to have it serviced and the heat limit adjusted. • Please bring appropriate tools (allen keys/wrenches) and a descaling solution.

I have 2 Nest thermostat units on the first floor which don't turn on, but the units on the ground floor and top floor do. As far as I can tell the base plate (white square one) on the first floor is not receiving power. But there is a Heatmiser UH6 on the first floor which seems to be working correctly. I'm looking for someone who can identify and fix the issue. Let me know if you need additional details.

EcoTEC boiler needs top up, filling loop is already connected but an additional safety lock is there so can’t just use the valves to open. Dishwasher is also not draining properly same as the sink it’s connected to. Needs to be looked at. Door handle of doors to be tightened and toilet seat to be fixed The flat is an Airbnb

Main boiler water hot and cold

Atlantic ideal boiler L5. The flame ignites and then it stopped. I can hear bubble noise. I bled the radiators but i have a tall one in the leaving room that is Always cold at the top and the valve is broken so can't bleed it... (Not sure it s related but internet said to bleed the highest radiator) In the past i had openned the boiler as i was having similar L5 issue and there was a small plastic reservoir with water inside but a thick grey matter that was blocking the inside circuit. So i suspect this is the same issue but as i am alone i dont want to attempt it myself.

Towel radiator needs fixing. Heating element gone. If this cannot be fixed, need new radiator purchasing, installing and area repainting. Can pay more for the larger task.

We have an old electric air pump boiler that’s being removed, but it needs a qualified electrician to check it’s disconnected from the circuit first.

Someone came to change thermostat as it was broken but when replaced it turn off heating at the house, he said didn't know what he was doing. then requested to put back the previous one to make it work but heating stopped working. Does anyone know how to turn on thermostat again? only need to turn on then will cover.

Hi, I’m looking for a professional decorator or handyman to repair and repaint water-damaged walls in the common stairwell area of my apartment in NW3 London. There was previously a leak from my boiler (faulty ball valve), but this has now been fixed and the area is drying out properly. The walls currently have: • Brown water staining • Flaking / bubbling paint • Some minor plaster damage • Light mould in one lower corner I want the job done properly so the staining doesn’t come back through. The job likely requires: • Scraping back all loose paint • Treating any mould • Sealing with stain-blocking primer (e.g. Zinsser) • Filling / patch plaster repair where needed • Sanding smooth • Repainting (white/neutral to match existing) This is in a stairwell so access may require care (not very high ceilings but awkward angles). Two radiators need replacing

the small screw, which holds up the heating element, has dropped out of the roof of the oven. It needs to be replaced.

My boiler is working but the pressure is a little low. I have tried repressuring it, by opening/closing the valves, but the pressure gauge is not moving and I cannot hear water entering the boiler. I have also tried open the black valve (see photo attached).

I would love a quote for a Boiler Timer replacement for my 1 bed flat. The boiler itself works fine, but it has to be turned on and off manually. The existing timer attached to the water heater switch is completely unresponsive - it does not display anything or respond to my attempts to reset. I have been operating the water heater manually since I moved in but would like to install a new digital timer so that I can program water heating automatically and easily. The boiler only affects hot water as my radiator system is electric. I would prefer this job to be completed in one visit so would like the replacement timer to be sourced by yourselves in advance or to be given guidance on which to order in advance so that it is ready to install on the same day as your visit.

This boiler is not working as it should and I was recommended to replace the heating elements. So looking for someone to do this... It's not heating water well or fast enough, it costs me insane amount of money (like summertime around £100 goes to just have hot water in the morning for one shower session). Now it provides barely warm water after 3 hours of heating water. I don't know price for this work so please do let me know how much materials and labour will cost!
