I'm looking for an experienced handyman or carpenter to install an FD30 fire door into an existing door frame at my property in the B66 area. I have already purchased the FD30 fire door. The task includes: Installing and correctly fitting the new FD30 fire door into the existing frame. Checking and adjusting the door frame and door clearances as necessary. Installing suitable fire-rated hinges and handles, if not already fitted. Fitting the appropriate intumescent strips and smoke seals where required. Ensuring the door closes properly and the installation meets the relevant fire safety requirements. Requirements: Previous experience installing FD30 fire doors. Please bring your own tools. Please confirm whether the £100 budget covers labour only and whether any additional materials would cost extra. Flexible with dates and times. Need someone to go change the batteries for the fire alarm and install the ring camera… maybe mow lawn. Lawn is tiny patch so everything shouldn’t take more than an hour/1.5 hour. Reasonable rates on low income.

I need an experienced Tasker to help mount 4 IKEA LACK wall shelves (190x26 cm, white stained oak effect) securely onto a solid brick wall.  Scope of Work: Drill and mount the internal brackets for 4 long LACK floating shelves. Ensure all shelves are completely level, properly aligned, and anchored tightly into the brickwork. Note: These are the 190cm versions, but I am available to act as a secondary helping hand to support and steady the boards while you fix them.  What I can provide: All 4 IKEA shelves and their mounting hardware. A clear workspace and an extra pair of hands to assist. What you will need to bring: A hammer drill with proper masonry bits, a spirit level, measuring tape, and heavy-duty wall plugs/screws suitable for solid brick (since IKEA does not include wall-mounting screws).
