I’m looking for an experienced, reliable handyman to complete a set of finishing jobs in my one-bedroom flat after decorating and carpentry are complete. 📍 Location: Ground-floor flat 📅 Timing: Around 18 March, with some flexibility either side Scope of Work (room by room): (All existing light fixtures already removed by decorator) Living Room • Install new flush ceiling light • Install blind in recessed window Hallway • Install new flush ceiling light Bedroom • Install IKEA ceiling-mounted curtain track and hang curtain • Install new flush ceiling light • Hang wall mirror Kitchen • Install wall shelves (fixings supplied) • Install new flush ceiling light • Adjust/replace stiff kitchen door lock Bathroom • Install new flush ceiling light • Install ceiling-mounted shower curtain rail • Install under-sink storage unit (may require swapping a rigid pipe for a flexible one – flexible pipe supplied) • Hang new mirror • Optional: replace one broken wall tile (nice to have, not essential) Outside (Garden) • Install solar-powered downlights approx 15ft high Notes: • All ceiling lights are flush-mounted fixtures • I will supply all fixtures, fittings, shelves, curtain rail, flexible pipe, mirrors, etc. You will need all tools • No removal of existing lights required • This is a lived-in property but will be largely cleared and cleaned beforehand When quoting, please include: • Your total price • Whether your quote is hourly or fixed • Estimated number of hours or days • What is included in your quote (e.g. fittings, drilling, minor adjustments) • Any assumptions you’re making If you can also handle the bathroom tile repair, please mention this separately — if not, no problem at all. We have a diagonal sky light with a blind that doesn't go all the way up. Picture attached.

Need long ladders, fix some hanging hooks to the front of the house (which I can supply - they need to be drilled and screwed in). Then help to hang the lights which will wrap around the guttering going up one side, then hang from the hooks following the front elevation of the roof to the apex. Back down the other side and down the other gutter down pipe.
