The work will include a mixture of small repairs, touch-ups and general property maintenance, including: Touch-up painting to walls, ceilings, woodwork and other areas where required Making good minor marks, scuffs and damaged areas before painting Cutting grass and tidying garden areas Pulling and removing weeds Applying suitable weed killer to external areas General garden and external tidy-up Repairing or replacing toilet seats Removing and replacing old or damaged silicone around showers and sanitary areas Minor bathroom repairs Minor fixtures and fittings repairs Adjusting or repairing doors, handles, hinges and similar items where required General snagging and property maintenance works Other small handyman tasks identified while completing the property inspection We are looking for somebody who: Has good experience with general property maintenance Is competent with basic painting and decorating Can apply bathroom/shower silicone neatly and professionally Has their own general handyman tools Is able to identify and resolve straightforward maintenance issues without requiring constant supervision Works cleanly and tidily Is reliable and communicates clearly Has their own transport and can travel to the property in Gloucester The property needs to be left looking clean, tidy and well presented, so attention to detail is important. These include: General: - hanging blinds and a curtain - hanging mirrors and shelves - creating mdf frame for bath and adding panel - adding solar lights to garden wall Decorative: - skimming small section of wall and painting (open to filler or plaster depending on suitability) Electrical: - changing light fixtures on ceilings I’m open to a day or two next week and flexible on timings/cost.
