10 Blind repairs in Hammersmith

The roller blinds on my top french window (double height ceiling around 22 ft) have got stuck. The blinds are operated by a chain. Currently, pulling the chain does NOT open/ lift up the blinds as it used to . Could be a problem with the mechanism. please NOTE that I do NOT have access to a ladder at my premises.

Drill in a blind to a recess window. And drill in 2x ring doorbells in the garden wall.

It is a material blind, that is now constantly down because it’s broken so needs to be back on the reel.

I have two blinds and the fittings have broken. One is just the antique brass beaded pull has snapped, the other the end where the beaded pull attaches has broken. It does not attach properly to the spindle and falls out. A friend suggested I am probably best off replacing both fittings

Repairs needed to motorised roller blind in apartment. The blind is charging, so it isn’t a battery issue. When I click the remote up, the motor goes and it starts turning to go up then it raises about 4 inches and stops. The blinds are originally from blindsbypost.

The strings on one of our blinds have broken. I need the blind re-strung and, if possible, cleaned.

I have 2 new roller blinds that need putting up on 2 different windows. I can supply a 7 tread step ladder but you need to bring your own drill. Thanks

Blinds need to be screwed into 2 windows, I don’t have any screws or tools - Due date: Flexible

Remove existing self adhesive roller blinds from an aluminium door and install new roller blinds instead (drilling required) - Due date: Flexible

Four slats need joining up again

1. Green guestroom: rehang Roman blind 2. Master bed: Replace and fix end of bracket that secures the chain, and which has been lost. 3. Dining room: ‘Bottom-up’ sheer blind - has lost tension. It’s controlled by a string pulley system on the right. 4. Nursery: Standard roller back out blind lost its chain so can’t move it. Need new (chrome) chain 5. Study: ‘Spring back’ sheer bottom up blind has lost its tension so flops around. 6. Masbro Rd property: x2 bottom up sheer blinds have lost tension. - Due date: Before Monday, 5 September 2022

One of the blind cord has snapped and is tangle inside the winding system Also one of the hook at the bottom of the blind is broken and needs replacing - Due date: Before Saturday, 16 July 2022

I have 4 roller blinds made to measure but they don’t actually fit the windows:( I believe tey need to be cut short at least 5-10mm for them to fit - Due date: Needs to be done on Wednesday, 24th Nov 2021
