The work I would like includes: • Paint all bedroom walls in a warm off-white/cream • Paint the wall behind the bed in a soft mushroom/taupe • Paint the ceiling in a warm white • Paint the fitted wardrobe/cupboard doors in soft mushroom/taupe • Paint desk warm white • Paint the bedroom doors/woodwork in warm white • Prepare surfaces properly before painting, including filling, sanding and priming where necessary • Apply 2 coats where required for an even, professional finish • Protect flooring/furniture and leave the room clean and tidy The fitted cupboards are painted wood and have sloping sections, so I'm looking for someone experienced with painting fitted wardrobes/cupboards, not just standard walls. I'm happy to purchase the paint once we have agreed on the colours/products. Please let me know what paint/primer you recommend. I’d like this corner display cabinet refinished from its current light wood colour to a dark walnut finish, similar to the second reference image. The cabinet has glass panels and built-in lighting, so I want the existing glass, lights and internal fittings kept intact. The aim is to give the exterior wood a richer, darker mid-century look while keeping the finish clean and natural rather than overly glossy. The cabinet is currently assembled, so the job would ideally include: * preparing/sanding the existing finish * applying a dark walnut stain or suitable furniture finish * protecting the glass and lighting during the work * finishing/sealing the wood so it is durable and even * I’m happy to supply/pay for the required materials once we agree the best products and finish. I’ve attached one photo showing the cabinet as it is now and one reference image showing the colour/style I’m aiming for.
