We’re looking for a reliable, experienced painter/decorator to paint two small beauty treatment rooms (8 sqm each) and our basement lobby at our salon in Islington. We already have the primer and all paint required, but you will need to bring your own brushes, rollers, trays, dust sheets, masking tape, filler/sandpaper where needed, and any other tools or materials required to complete the job to a professional standard. Scope of work: - Paint 2 beauty treatment rooms. - Paint basement lobby area. - Prepare walls properly before painting. - Protect floors, fixtures, skirting boards, sockets and furniture. - Apply primer and paint neatly with clean edges and an even finish. - Tidy up fully afterwards. Additional wall preparation required: One of the beauty rooms has some flaking paint caused by a small ongoing damp patch behind the wall. This area will need to be sanded back, properly cleaned and prepared and stain blocked before painting. Requirements: - Must have previous painting/decorating experience. - Must bring own brushes, rollers and preparation materials. - Must be tidy, careful and respectful of a working beauty salon environment. - Ideally available to complete the work outside salon opening hours - Sunday after 5pm and all day Monday - Must be able to provide an estimated timeframe and total price before starting. I need my kitchen painted, not long moved in and need to freshen up the kitchen. It’s 11ft x 9ft so it’s not very big. Most of the walls are half tiled except one. I need the job to be completed this Friday before 1:00pm so please only offer if you want meet this requirement. I had purchased the paint but because the current colour is dark it will probably need a few coats. I also need the ceiling painted white, which I also have the paint for. I will need the tasker to bring their own brushes, rollers etc. As I am disabled I have been unable to get into the high to reach places and clean so there is some debris that needs to wiped away if you don’t mind doing that.
