I’m looking for an experienced and detail-focused painter to paint a large Victorian bedroom. This is not a quick in-and-out job — I want someone who will take the time to do it properly, especially around woodwork, mouldings, windows, doors, cornices, skirting boards, and the ceiling rose. The walls and woodwork are in good condition, but require proper prep: sanding, filling small imperfections, and taping where needed. We expect this job to take approximately 3 full working days (8 hours/day). You’ll be quoting here for Day 1 only — further days will be confirmed and paid directly. ✔️ Scope of work includes: • Light wall prep (sanding, filling, taping) • Painting: • Walls (2 coats) • Ceiling • Ceiling rose (requires small filling) • Cornices • Skirting boards • Window frames • Doors & frames • Fireplace surround • Radiators may also be painted — we’ll confirm on-site. 🎯 Who I’m looking for: • Someone who is tidy, meticulous, and takes pride in a clean finish • Experience with period properties and woodwork detailing • Must bring own tools, brushes/rollers, dust sheets, etc. Please quote your rate for Day 1 (8 hours). The front yard of my flat was very badly painted meaning half the paint has flaked off (was like this before I moved in). Ideally I'd love to strip off the paint to return it to its previous colour – tried myself but proved beyond me! Also, would be great to fix / replace the broken step but I appreciate that might be a different job

I have a few long hairline cracks in my hallway walls that i would like to have opened up slightly, filled (with a flexible filler), sanded and the entire set of walls repainted. If the filler requires some drying time I am happy for the task to be split over two days within a week.
