Garden raised, levelled, and new turf laid

    £5

    Streatham, Greater London, SW16

    7th Jan 2020

I have a garden in Streatham, SW16 that is approx 8m by 10m that I would like to raise by a fed inches (quite a big step down from the back patio), level off (it’s on a hill, and new turf laid on top. I currently have builders working on the property including building a new back patio so need to co-ordinate this with the garden. I haven’t put in a budget as I would like to discuss the job in person before quotes are offered.

Slab demolition/removal and lay artificial grass

    £350

    Streatham, Greater London, SW16

    21st Aug 2019

We have a small garden, the previous owners appear to have laid brickwork on the ground and put paving slabs on top of this. We would like the paving slabs/brickwork demolished/removed and artificial grass laid. We would need the rubble taken away as well. The job may take around 2 days to complete.

Replace retaining nuts on bath mixer tap

    £75

    Streatham, Greater London, SW16

    23rd Feb 2020

The two plastic nuts retaining the mixer tap fitting on the bath have both cracked and need replaced. Access is difficult. As per the photographs the best route would seem to be to disconnect the plastic connections joining the hoses to the copper pipes. Then remove the plastic connectors. That will allow the photographed tool to slide up over the hose to unscrew the nuts connecting the hoses to the tap fitting. With the hoses disconnected then the same tool can be used to attach the new brass fittings plus washers to the underside of the tap fitting to secure the fitting itself. Then the hoses can be reattached at the top and finally at the bottom to the copper pipes

Highly recommended. Job done quickly with very friendly service. Happy with the price as well. Very pleased.
